Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI): In 2017, we launched our WLI to develop and advance diversity throughout the organization and to create opportunities and a path for advancement. WLI is committed to promoting and advocating for gender diversity at all levels of leadership through awareness, development, and inspiration, recruiting high-potential female candidates from all areas of the company.
Everi WLI participants have the opportunity to attend industry seminars such as those organized by Global Gaming Women (GGW), an organization that brings together women from all segments of gaming to enrich their professional and personal lives and support, inspire, and influence their development and the MGM Resorts Women’s Leadership Conference, both of which afford our WLI candidates with leadership, educational and networking opportunities with key leaders within the gaming industry.
In addition, Everi is proud to announce its Knee Boot sponsorship of GGW’s 10th anniversary Kick Up Your Heels fundraiser which raises money to support Global Gaming Women and its Charitable Education Fund, which provides educational scholarships to women in the gaming industry.
Put simply, we believe diverse talent and perspectives will enable us to continue to be successful and drive shareholder value.
It’s worth noting these efforts at Everi start at the top – Everi was recognized by 2020 Women on Boards for achieving at least 20 percent women on its Board of Directors prior to the 2020 target date. One of these board members, Eileen F. Raney, is a keynote panelist at the 2020 Women on Boards The National Conversation on Board Diversity event in November 2019.
