Everi’s Venuetize Platform

The Oakland Athletics (the “A’s”) selected Everi Payments (“Everi”) as their digital wallet and mobile ordering provider via Everi’s Venuetize® platform, with the goal of enhancing patrons in-venue experience at Oakland Coliseum.

During the 2022 baseball season, to show fan appreciation and encourage engagement, the A’s created an exclusive mobile ordering offer. The team selected a 3-game series from September 23rd to 25th to promote a mobile ordering-only offer of a hotdog and soda for $5.00 or a soda for $1.50. This offer was promoted via email before the game, included in the A’s ticket guide, and publicized through the mobile app via push notifications and banner ads.

The series averaged 46% higher fan attendance than the 2022 season average. Throughout this series, patrons redeemed the promotional offer for 75% of all mobile orders. The A’s also saw mobile ordering penetration increase exponentially during the series, almost 5x the season average.

Based on a post-game survey conducted by the A’s, 53% of patrons who redeemed the offer had never used mobile ordering before. The increase in patron mobile ordering usage shows great success in building awareness and growing e-commerce through incentives. Overall, this was a well-executed campaign that fulfilled the goal of driving mobile adoption.
